My Cavalier is 18 months old and still has these madness fits occasionally. We were told by his trainer it happens when they have excess energy and know that they won't be able to get rid off it all before they go to sleep so they have a mad 5 minutes to get rid of the energy. I know you can't at the minute but we give our Alfie a walk about half hour before his timed burst of energy and it's enough to stop it happening...

Also Milo is super cute I can see why you don't mind him snuggling up falling asleep on you beautiful

He is absolutely adorable. Looks just like one in my classes. They have quite a lot of spunk for their size.

He's lovely and he will be a clever little chap as well with a papillon and chihuahua for parents! Get training him now! LOL!
