I was just moving a outside tortoise table round for the tiny ones .....
Funny little creature she is !Sleeps, thinks, drinks, bathes, rotates, dries off.

I think this is the sort of summer weather I prefer - bit of sun, bit of rain, bit of cloud...
Preferable to the heatwaves of the two previous years. The harvest season starts next month! The summer has almost gone but I think we’ve got some nice days to look forward to still.

That's true, Sandy. I think a late September/early October Indian Summer could be on the cards.

yea its funny isnt it - what a strange old year all together. Ive got a jumper on today its so cold. back in the day when i was a kid i remember rotating all my summer clothes and winter jumpers and didnt see them until the respective season. I would take my little fishing net, shorts t shirt and boots, a tiny backpack with a couple of sandwiches, maybe an old water bottle if remembered, and be gone all day til dust, out on the bike. these days it would be unheard of if i left without a rain coat, or jumper and came back cold wet or stinking hot and nearly fainting with heatstroke. Where did those balmy days go ? CB
