Posting Snails?

I have seen on lots of snail keeping websites people posting snails to other people who buy them. Is that ok or would they die in the post? I looked on one persons website and they said they were posted a snil from Brazil! Im not really an expert in snails but what does anybody else think?

Hi, iv posted lots of snails in the UK (shorter journey), if packed well and humanely then yes they will an do survive, but i wouldnt post over sea's, as this would be a prolonged journey.
