Becoming a little jaundiced
Hi,I posted few ds ago, have had 5yr old hermanns for a week now,and had poor appetite fom dy 1, which I understand as stressful rehoming etc. have finally got him to start nibbling at dandelion leaves if I encourage and hand feed him,but I noticed today that his limbs are tinged yellow.
Have bathed him regularly Will ring and take to vet tomorrow to get him checked out etc,he's active enough, but not seen him drink Any help?thoughts? Cheers everyone |

Hiya
Can you upload some photos? It might be easier for people to help if they can see it. It might just be your tortoises colouring but without seeing it its hard to tell.

The legs are meant to be a dirty yellow colour. Perhaps he has shed some skin and when you put him in water it looked different. I really don't think you have anything to worry about. If they were red, then that's a different story. |

Thanks all
I have left her at specialist vets to be sure she's ok,and fluoroscopy has shown there is a small hexagonal poss zinc nut inside her! He is unsure if it's significant at the moment and has taken bloods. Will keep you informed |

Just wondering why he didn't go with just a straight x-ray
