This is an update on Septimus who has produced another egg.
The previous egg has remained in the incubator since the 21st January. I'm not hopeful about that one - was laid on the surface - but you never know. A second egg was laid in a prepared hole a few days ago and I was able to dig this up and put it in the incubator right away. So even if this egg turns out to be infertile I think we are getting closer!

Jonathan .... Ive found surface eggs has a rather good chance of being fertile.
I think it might be she cudnt find a suitable place refer humidity , substrate , heat and not unimportant calm surroundings , meaning noone keeps disstracting her. You know ....females ....when that happenes .... aaaah You allready wrote that
