for this one i doubled up on the stitches to enlarge it and added an extra couple of rows to the body here and there depending on the thickness of the wool. sorry if i sound vague but i have a habit of making things up as i go along until i think they;re right. i knit baby hats/bootees for my nappy cakes and do the same with them.
