Hi Jo. here are a couple of examples. they are made from rolled up nappies and i cover them using blankets baby clothes etc. i then finish off by wrapping in cello like the bottom pic.
And yes i do think you could try it.even if you only made the bottom tier.

Maybe if I gave you some instructions you could make her something like that yourself. it is possible if i helped you and just think how you would be the number 1 friend.

think about it

Julie I'd love it if you could show me how to make a nappy cake. My sister is expecting a baby boy, after soooo many attempts. I am so happy for her as she has wanted a baby for as long as I can remember and she would love a nappy cake.

How do you get them to stick together, are they just placed on top or are they secured somehow?

you can take out the centre nappy from the bottom tier and insert something like baby talc or a baby bottle which will hold tiers 1 and 2 and then do the same to hold tier 2 and 3. But once its wrapped in the cello they should hold ok without . the tip is making sure the nappies are rolled evenly so that the they are flat top and bottom to sit neatly. if you see what i mean.

will pm you

Hi All. we went to an engagement party last night and at the last minute i decided i just had to make something with the monkeys to go alongside their main present, as he makes all my flyers for me

so came up with this and thankfully they loved it. ha
