Morning Ozric,
It's been a while since I have been on here. The adults paperwork and microchips will need to be done first.
The application process is usually about a 10-14 day turnaround providing you have all the correct information on the applications.
Hatchlings don't need to be chipped if under 6cm, you do require the parents cert numbers and Microchip numbers for the application, you also have to state that they are less than 60mm/6cm. All hatchlings with different females can be on the one application. The price is £31 for the first cert and an additional £1.50 for every other cert you need. Even if you have six females, it is only £1.50 as it is based on the male. Obviously two males would be different.
Cheers
Andy

Thanks for all the help. Good to see you back on here Andy.

The certs I have for these 4 adults are not in my name. They are the original ones I got when I bought the tortoises. Two of them are French certificates and under that system you also get a letter signed that says the ownership of the tortoise is being transferred and that letter has my name and address on it but the certificates themselves don't.

So, I don't need to get tiny ones chipped so that's good.

But it looks like I need to get new certificates for the adults.

Do I go to the vet and get them chipped and then apply for new certificates once I've got chip numbers?

Yes you will need to get them chipped first and take the certs with you as the vet might want to put the little sticker on the cert that has the chip number on it.
And when you send the certs off double check everything and put your email address in as if there is a problem they can get hold of you or they will just send it all back.
If in doubt fill out the form and then call them and go through it with them.
