'Tortoise Club' special for Children 6th sept 2009

Just to let you all know of this one off special children's event:

Just Me and my Tortoise
Welcomes the Galapagos Conservation Trust's Tortoise Club!
for children aged 6 – 11 years
On: Sunday 6th September in Bromley

Meet Henry Nicholls from the Galapagos Conservation Trust and author of the “Lonesome George” book, there will be books on sale (some children's books) tortoises to meet and lots of 'Galapagos' linked items.

4-5pm Henry will be running the Galapagos Conservation Trust Children’s Tortoise Club - £1 child (parents go free)
This is a special year for Galapagos and brings a year of celebrations, for a variety of reasons:
 The 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin
 The 150th anniversary of the publication of Origin of The Species
 The 50th anniversary of the founding of the Charles Darwin Foundation in Galapagos and the Galapagos National Park

Also:
2.30-3.30 Henry is giving a talk “Darwin and the tortoises” for adults and children £2 adults / £1 child (includes entry to Children’s Tortoise Club - optional)
You and your child(ren) can come along to the Darwin talk if interested.

Refreshments are included in the price
Places are limited. Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult.
