Cherry headed redfoots are relativey shy tortoises as babies tey shy away from bright light but will settle in time it can take weeks or even a monthor two .
Your humidity is fine it will be your hygrometer its not reading correctly but as Linda has said try the reading in several areas frst. Cherries are really if ever truely bred in the uk so they are possible wild caught captive farmed a parasite check may be needed. Darren

I can only echo what Piglet is saying with regards to the checkup.
You need a full parasite check, not just worms but for Hexamita etc. They don't show any outward signs of being ill at first but they'll go off food and then eventually become weak and die. It's a real fight to keep them alive if they're carrying these parasites, and they spread to other tortoises with them incredibly easily. |
