He is very old and he lives all year in the garden, never ever has came indoors. I'm suprised he's still around he must be so hardy.
No extra heat etc. Lives in a run on the grass with a little wooden house stuffed with hay for warmth and thats it. ( even in winter).

I may be getting him

Been told he's fed on lettuce, wet bread, weeds like dandylions etc, some fruits. Don't you think he looks good on it?

He has never had a bath, lol


If I changed things a bit like bringing him indoors in winter etc, would he accept the change do you think?
I would want to bring him in at night and in the winter.

I'm a bit scared I might kill him with too much love and pampering.

If I was to venture a guess I'd say T.g.ibera. The tortoise has to be in the south.

Definately a Spur-thigh Like Helen said we will need plastron pictures to be sure of the subspecies Lynne.
