Looks like coconut husk mulch uncompressed. Other companies like T-Rex sell it in compressed bricks which when moistened expand to about 10 times that volume for I suspect the same price.

I use it on frogs an moisture loving tortoises.

They sell exactly that stuff in our local pets at home.
Will have a look at it and the price next time im in there.

Dunno but I've seen folk say the use it

BTW Aliza when you go to work at London Zoo you might get the chance to see all what they use for their torts and you can take note of what all their stuff is and maybe even where they get it and report back

I didn't like this Aliza, I think Topsoil is a much cheaper better option

i use top soil with this mixed into the top layer for a bit of texture (as i don't use sand). really like it but it is slightly more expensive.
