Default Sticky back?!

Just wondering if the sticky back weed is safe for torts? you know the stuff. Kids cover themselves in the burrs and stems..leaves radiating from the centre. A guy on a yank site said its loaded with digitalis but another site has it pegged as tortoise food. Any thoughts anyone?

I think your thinking of sticky BUD? thats what we call it down here....

heres a link http://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/s...main&catID=132

"Goose Grass/Sticky Buds has a diuretic effect, so it is possible to become dehydrated if too much is eaten. Also, it contains the chemical compound coumarin, which soaks up nitrogen in the form of nitrates from the soil, so although a small amount of this plant will not harm your tortoise, it should never be more than a small percentage of a varied diet.
