A discharge from the nose - usually bubbles & sometimes noisey breathing.

You don't always see the discharge when it first starts as they wipe their nares with their legs...

That is very true

I have a couple of leopards that are prone to RNS/respiratory infections.

If you are worried I would definately see the vet at the earliest opportunity - it is surprising how soon it can develop into pneumonia( which is very treatable so dont panic).

As mentioned noisey breathing and sneezing ( with a discharge) are good signs.

My tort has suffered with reoccurring lower respiratory infections confirmed by a sample sent off for testing, he had no discharge from his nose but was making clicking noises when he breathed and was not getting up by himself, he just wanted to sleep all day and his appetite decreased.
