Pancake eggs driving me crazy

well i am now up to egg number 10 and still not one fertile one

i know i must be doing somethign wrong any help wpuld be great

A few questions

What's your group size? How many males? How old and big are the males? What temperature are you incubating at? How long have you let the eggs incubate for?

Hi Danny
just the person i was hoping to respond

group is 3.5
have had them 2 years came in as "adults then" the males are big and i have witnessed breeding multipul times with all 3 males and all females.

incubation was right round 86-87
all 10 eggs where left till the exploded nothing ever developed.
this year i am cooling the whole group of animals nut i dont know if that needs to be done.

What kind of incubator are you using, I was using a fan assisted one and all my eggs started to chalk but that was it. Since changing to a hovabator I have had a 100% hatch rate.

Mine are kept on a 12 hour day/night cycle and in the fall they get down to 60F at night. My male always bred in the fall and the female laid in the winter. So cool night time temperatures at least got the male interested in breeding and probably helped with fertility.
My eggs were incubated at the same temperature and broke diapause at around 2 months. With fertile eggs the yolk will settle to the bottom and they will get what I call a light "chalking" (they don't go bright white until they start to develop). Do you know if any of this is happening?

my eggs never chalked at all and all have cracked or broken after about 60-90 days

I am cooling the group now and will warm them back up april first and see if anything happens

It does sound like they were infertile. Do you know what your humidity is/was?
