Looks like you need to add more fiber to their diet.

what should it look lke smell like etc

i would like to know this so in the future if a tort was poorly i might be able to help it earlier if i knew what signs to read from the poo

why did i start this

Hi Carl
Again that looks like discoloured urates certainly not poo , dehydrated tortoises with huge urate build ups over time often shed discoloured urates with a pinkish tinge or even gray in colour .
Urates shed discoloured like this are usually due to a build up over a long time , Carl don't think it's your fault this will no doubt be due to bad hydration in a previous home .

thanks darren but when i first got him he was in a viv, i fed him lettuce and cucmber and he was always hydrated from this as he pooed a very runny poo and weed every day when i got him out so he must have been hydrated then.
Then i moved him into the tort table and fed him weeds instead of lettuce and he started getting urates even though i bathe him every day.

This surely cant all be urates as there is so much and it has been this colour for a while, is it urates mixed with the poo.

LV all the torts are fed the same

Carl the urates are stored in the kidneys and passed with fluid from the bladder, if a tortoise is kept in a situation
where its body can't relieve the urate burden through hydration the urates build up and start to solidify turning a different colour as they become solid it takes ages to rid the system of this build up.
A tortoise with this problem can still pass fresh urates (white and milky) when it recieves the proper care whilst stil lholding on to solid urates ,these solids take lots of hydration( baths) to rid the system of it ,this is what you are doing and it appears to be working.
