African Pygmy Hedgehogs (hoglets)
Update: We have 3 African Pygmy Hoglets. All boys - 2 Albino and 1 Algerian Chocolate.
Ready for their new homes in 3-4 weeks (just in time for Christmas) They're already being handled regularly, and are very friendly. They will all be registered with the APH Registry, as are Mum and Dad. Mum is albino and Dad is chocolate. APHs are particularly good for people who are allergic to furry mammals (like me!) £100 for Algerian and £75 for Albino but I'm more concerned about them going to a good home so feel free to send offers. All hoglets will come with a supply of changeover food, a caresheet, their APH Registry Certificate and all the aftercare you will ever need; I'll always be on hand for any questions or concerns.

They have to live indoors as they don't (or shouldn't) hibernate like native species. So anything like an indoor rabbit cage, anything you can keep inside really! A lot of people give them a wheel for them to exercise, but mine don't like it and just run laps around their hutch! Depending on how cold a house is, you may need a heatmat just to keep them snug.
They eat good quality dry cat food (but moistened), mealworms, crickets, bits of veg, a bit of goats milk occasionally =D

They're lovely. A friend of mine has one and she's very sweet.
