Wish it was as simple Suze but as you all know I'm just ever so slightly over weight so was told I will need to have the knife.

Even sorted out a sterile place to perform the procedure. You still in, anaesthetist Suze?

Well pleased to say that I have conducted a telephone pre-op conversation with the patient today but think that the operation may have to be delayed for a while as patient has got very raised blood pressure and is having panic attacks with all the talk of knives, bicycle pumps and key holes! He is still under observation of course.

Now I'm getting worried as you all know I'm usually game for a laugh but this might be going a bit far.

Stiff upper lip and all that, Gordon.
Don’t worry, we’ll leave it to the professionals, though I’m not for one moment saying that Clare and Suze aren’t very capable in their specialist subjects.

You concentrate on getting the BP down and resting up Gordon.
Though if you get fed up of waiting on the NHS list you know we’re all still here.

Well said Dr Emma ! But we don’t want to scare you Gordon or send your BP up.

When it finally gets sorted ( which it will) you will feel so much better, I know several people who have had their gallbladder out, and felt so much better for it.

Actually I’m very squeamish and would be absolutely no good in theatre

Now I'm not saying I'm not up for it but we need a venue.
I recon Marys place would do as good motor way access for all plus she has a huge table in the kitchen and the floor is tiled so easy to mop up any blood and stuff that might spill.

I’m up for it!
Mary need not worry about her lovely tiles as we’ll bring a tarpaulin to go under the table and I could bring the siphon from the fish tank so someone could have the pump on that going so that’d take care of spillages and stop Suze getting squeamish.

Seriously though, how’s the pain at the moment?

On a scale 1 to 10 I would say an 8 which I can deal with its the constant feeling sick which is getting me down.
So the sooner we can all rock up at Marys the better.
