Default turtle storage project

am starting to setup a 70 UK gallon bath tub to store stray and found turtles as over the last few weeks Ive been inundated with them its for from done but this is were am at till i make the filters and basking dock. The air rifles you see in the photo are in storage away from a house full of kids

Nikki, what excellent work you are doing. Is there anything I can do - happy to send you a donation on Paypal or something. I truly think its a great idea and also saw your other post. Lets hope people support you and can get behind this fab idea..

Thanks for your generous offer over the last few weeks Ive been given and found loads of turtles i think its because no one has got the money any more for there upkeep plus the sizes of turtle Ive been getting are to big to be kept in a standard 100 liter tank an going to try to get the new setup built scrapheap style i keep skip diving looking for goodies !

We have lots of various different turtles, all but 2 have been rehomers. You will need to quarantine any new arrivals though, just in case they are carrying something. It is certainly becoming a problem - there are so many requiring new homes/being dumped - if only people could be bothered to research before buying that cute .50p sized slider/cooter, who within a few years, if female, reaches 12" plus.
