the rain ...the rain... not seen a peep out of my lot. And then one decided to walk slowly in the rain have a look and walk slowly back to her the home under the cloche and all the while I was getting soaked til I could close up. I was drenched ! I had to change every bit of clothing and to top it all I stood on the water dish which catapulted in the air and sprayed me with water.....oh well, another autumn. I cant imagine not having tortoises with all the fun they bring !! you would never experience just standing in the rain waiting for a slow reptile to decide whether its time for bed or time for a hydrate.....ha !
