I made the HUGE mistake of planting tort friendly plants in Tort Lodge Gardens only to have them all eaten to the ground in days.... I dug up the roots and managed to recover them in plant pots.... I now just offer them now and again!! I have gone for larger plants/shrubs that are tort friendly, to grow in the enclosure. I did think ahead and grew some nasturtiums with a cage around.... Thinking torts could treat themselves as the leaves grew through the mesh ..... It did work..... Until the snails found them.
