thanks, clearly going wrong waiting on mother nature. I will try oven or maybe separate heat emitter. I've been pretty useless for such a simple exercise so far. CB

I agree with Jan - it is important to really dry them out and i have found the oven the best way but make sure they are crispy dry or they go mouldy.
