Vee i didn't wait to find out the male just tried to pry his front legs open I would imagine he would of got bored but great damage would hae been done .
Captive diet;
They eat a mixture small insects (meal worms, morio worms, waxmoth grubs, locusts) they also have finely chopped pears and other fruit small amount of cheese cubed, grated boiled egg mixed with a comercial insectivore mix and kitten biscuits .
They will eat finely minced rabbit and chicken meat too but I don't offer mine this as it very messy.
They also have cuttle fish and nutrabol on there food and a cuttlefish bone left whole which the females eat daily
Wild diet; They eat termites,ants fruit and both bird and reptile eggs.
From dead animals gathered there stomach contents also had reptile scales and possible carrion in them also, the are not a specialist feeder but omnivourus.
