Hi bikertigger, I think this post needs to go in the For Sale/Wanted section.
In the meantime, you will probably need to research the breed of tortoise that you want. Look at the threads on here for things like - substrate, lighting, diet.
If you can, try and get a good sized tortoise table (for whichever size tortoise you get). Try not to get a vivarium. But definitely start researching and also your planning of things to get ready - lots of people do this....but some do not unfortunately.
And it can be overwhelming if you dont plan and try to gain some knowledge before hand.
