I use to have 11 guinea pigs. I use to breed Himilayians until one of my females still birthed a litter of 4 and then died herself 3 hours later. I will still never forgive my vet for not giving me an appointment until the evening when I told them she is seriously ill

aww thats so sad. We had a stillborn in this litter but mums been fine. it must have been horrible for you. I really want some himilayians there one of my favourites. I agree baby guinea pigs are amazing.
