When I sow seeds its is in the Autumn and the weeds come up in the Spring, as some seeds need the cold to help them grow. If you plant in pots outside, let the plants grow and dont feed to the tortoises. You will have plenty of your own seeds for the next year:0)
Growing weeds inside is harder than you think:0) A sheltered sunny spot in the garden works well:0)
