I can sympathise with that. With my pregnancy for my youngest I had hyperemesis gravidarum, which meant I was being sick up to 30 times a day and felt nauseous and dizzy all the time. I’d had first trimester nausea with his older siblings but this was horrendous and I was bedridden for over 8 weeks. Thank goodness he was the last!
It’s no joke feeling sick, that’s for sure and it’s left me with a bit of a phobia of it.

Can they give you anything to help with the nausea? None of the treatments they gave me made any difference at all. I’ve had Buccastan since for labyrinthitis, a tablet that sits between the lip and gum and is absorbed into the body that way and it helped a little.

The pain sounds awful and I assume there’s no painkillers strong enough to help much. Keep battling on, G. I really hope they get you booked in soon and then you can start to recover. It must be horrible knowing you can’t feel better until after the surgery.
Sounds silly but have you tried a hot water bottle on the pain? The worst pain I’ve ever had was a prolapsed disc and it was far worse than childbirth! I have had a spasy back ever since, quite literally, and even in the summer I resort to a hot water bottle on it when the pain is bad.

Sounds like we need to gather our equipment and rendezvous at Mary’s as soon as!

Hang on in there! x
