Well IV antibiotics just work so much quicker and can deal with an infection better, but if they’re already in your system through your tablets, then I’m not sure if IV gives a higher dose or not - possibly.
I think if your temperature starts to spike you’ll have to go in, but let’s hope it was just a Sunday one-off.
Good news the surgical sites seem to be healing though. Let’s hope that continues.
