You must have been so galled when the wind took yours.
I wasn't bothered Emma, my wife wasn't too pleased though
We left it with just the trunk about a foot above the ground and it did sprout a small new bit of growth but then the following year it came to nothing. When the wind broke it it kind of split all the way down almost. It was held up by a three inch thick post which was also snapped by the wind or perhaps the weight of the plant as it was top heavy with a not very thick trunk
