Personally I wouldn't go for a Corn Snake.
A few of My family members have had them and they have been very aggressive.We had one a few years ago too and it was always biting,Hissing & rattling it's tail at us, In the end we had to rehome it as we couldn't even feed it without wearing heavy Duty Gloves.
