Yellows are basically the same as redfoots but they do prefer a more humid environment and fruit plays a slightly bigger part in there diet,
It is believed that humidity or the lack of will fault there fertility yellow foots love water and will soak for hours in a deep bowl if the back ground temps are adequate they need it around 88f -95f, yellows prefer to have an ambient back ground heat rather than bask but they will enjoy basking if given the opportunity to do so but not as long as most other tortoise species
