Like many I hoped that 2012 would be a better one ... but not so far
It all started at 9pm last night ... the 1st January
Parents phoned me whilst I was in the middle of Harry Potter! My mother had lost the use of her legs and was stuck in the chair downstairs, unable to weight bare. Faced with no toilet and no bed
… they rang me in trouble.
I have been asking for months/years what they intended to do to solve this problem when the day came. Now … they need a solution instantly! It's BH and everyone is closed.
We had the ambulance out after 11pm. She had high blood pressure and an irregular heart rate. They wanted her in hospital but she refused.
I offered to have her here so she could sleep in a bed downstairs and use the downstairs toilet … she refused.
The care people and the ambulance left after midnight and we got home at 01.00 this morning.
I now have to find a commode and a sofa bed … today!
