Thank you everyone for ideas and support. It has to be admitted though that I don't think anything will stop Lucy's 'Houdini' attitude - it's up to me to make it more difficult for him and to be more vigilant. I've already seen from the kitchen window - which looks out over his half of the garden, that he is walking towards the area where he got out - little does he know that the wall is raised - I just hope it really is 'Lucy-proof' this time!
