Thank you Dan. I tipped an extra litre of water into the table to up the humidity. Now touching high 80's/low 90's. Wilf still walks into things and has no flinch reaction on one side (left eye). He will always be kept on his own so will never have to face competition for resources so I hoping it doesn't present any further problems other than the odd bump to the nose.
