It started raining at 4pm, so he got most of it made.

The pens are so overgrown! I cover them with plastic sheeting through the winter to stop winter debris getting in and first sow lots of weed seeds. The sowthistle usually does well and has done in the female enclosure, which has plenty of it plus cats ear and bittercress, but this enclosure is full of bittercress and willow herb, which he won’t touch! The dock must have been dropped by a bird prior to covering the enclosure in the autumn.

I shall look up chicory images and compare, thanks Clare.
