I'm not good at posting pictures. They do build large nests light crocodiles rather than dig holes and then they guard the nest for a few days after laying. The eggs are soft shelled like terrapins but the size of billiard balls and need lots of humidity. Fortunately mine have only ever laid infertile eggs as they aren't the easiest tortoise to find a home for.
