top soil always seems so hard and heavy to me but yes nothing wrong with top soil.. juts make sure lots of drainage, maybe bit stones etc as Horsfields don't fair well in wet soil or lawns etc....mind you so one told me the other day Horsfields don't get RNS, which I find hard to believe but maybe they are not so susceptible to it ?
