Just brought her to the vet - tho not a specialist. He said doesn't seem like septicaemia but he can't be certain. He did suggest it could be bruising or contact dermatitis...nth much I could do...

Exclamation Redness in the shell????

I was bathing my tort this morning and notice these 'redness' in her shell. It didn't seem to be here yesterday but maybe I wasn't careful enough in the inspection.

Could anyone please tell me...

She's roughly 10cm long and weighs around 200grams. Probably a little underweight? Her shell was not exactly 'round' if you look at the first photo of her now. Is it true their shell grow vertically...
