my tortoise died today...
...turned upside down under the lamp while I was out. She's gone now. I would like to keep her shell so she can still stay with me. Anyone knows how it can be done? I don't want to do it myself, so...

Day 2 update...the red flush underneath the...
Day 2 update...the red flush underneath the plastron still there but hasn't spread. I am taking it as a good sign as I imagine if it's septicaemia then it would progress quickly??Will continue...

Just brought her to the vet - tho not a...
Just brought her to the vet - tho not a specialist. He said doesn't seem like septicaemia but he can't be certain. He did suggest it could be bruising or contact dermatitis...nth much I could do...

Redness in the shell????
I was bathing my tort this morning and notice these 'redness' in her shell. It didn't seem to be here yesterday but maybe I wasn't careful enough in the inspection.

She's roughly 10cm long and weighs around...
She's roughly 10cm long and weighs around 200grams. Probably a little underweight? Her shell was not exactly 'round' if you look at the first photo of her now. Is it true their shell grow vertically...
