DEFRA think its ok to micro chip with nano chips...

DEFRA think its ok to micro chip with nano chips on hatchlings. But I for one think their legs are far too small:0(
So waiting until they are big enough is really the way to go:0)

But all adults and hatchlings need certificates before you can sell them. As its illegal to sell without. You can give them away without certs.

Personally I think the tortoises have half a chance, but as for eggs then no, as my tortoises lay eggs in my lawn and I leave them there. No signs what so ever of them surviving as temps are not high...

Well checked my female today and she is still down, this is with heat on in the morning and temps in my other plant GH is 28c, so she is down for the big sleep:0)

They will sleep more when young, and a 2-3 grm per month is a good guide, as you dont want them growing too fast:0)
As long as they are eating and drinking I wouldn't worry too much:0)

Its funny as I live at the other end of the country and mine have been slowing down big time. Even when temps have been above 26c in the last few days. So maybe they are trying to tell us something...
