Yes i take all my other out they disturb them, but if she is hitting the bottom might not be a bad thing. If mine get put off digging, the dont normally try again till the next day, giving you time...

My red foots take hours to dig a nest 2-4 hours, they dig down then they make a groove to push the eggs in once they have laid a few.

She could be just wobbling with balancing on one leg if that makes sense.
