nope. i just mean some of my later torts poop more often than my earlier torts. regardless of the substrate i use. and now it's easier to spot and pick up the poop with the soil substrate.

i use a carpet before. but some of my torts before poop more often than the others. so i decided to change from carpet to 50/50 sand soil mix. it's easier to spot and remove their poop with the soil...

then i put it inside the house in an 'open vivarium' (PT-600) at night.
i do this everyday for a year now.
both enclo are on 50/50 sand-soil mix.

well that is if my tort eats it. i guess impactation could also happen if he eats the soil i use as a substrate now right? that's why i never feed my tort with the food just on the substrate.
