Leopard danger!

When picking up one of my leopards yesterday I accidentally had a finger too close to an armpit and he snapped his leg in and it felt as though my finger had been caught in a door!!!! Ouch! Be warned...

Number one could be immature chickweed,number two looks like cleavers or goosegrass (or stickybud) but might not be! Number three looks like chickweed, number four looks like biggish foxglove leaves...

The thing to do when taking opuntia cuttings is to pull a pad off then leave it to dry for a few days/a week, until there is a sort of scar tissue on the part you are going to put in the compost....

You'll only get weeds to grow well in the winter if you have them under grow lights as there is insufficient light in the winter months for plants to grow and all you'll get is spindly,falling over...
