How much light after hibernation?

How long should the heat/uv be on when torts wake up from hibernation?

Poppy is up early (fridge temp malfunction) and has warmed up, bathed, weed, drank and is eating. I can't remember what I did...

Higher temps. I've had to put in an extra lamp for my over wintered torts. In the 30's at the warm end, around 40 directly under the basking lamp. It worked wonders :)

I FOUND SOIL!!! It's looking loads better with that in. The only stuff I could find was some expensive organic stuff so I 'acquired' some mole hills to mix in with it and bulk it out a bit :)

Aww thank you :) I hope so. I can't wait for the weather to be good enough for the torts to get out there. It's so much space compared to their indoor run. I hope they enjoy it :)

Well Pickles did 7 1/2 weeks for his first hibernation. He lost 1g while he was in the fridge and was up and eating within a few hours of me waking him up :) He was back to his pre-wind down weight...

There is a raised 'bedroom' bit in the rabbit run, I will be replacing the wooden roof with clear perspex so that end will be warm and dry. I'll make sure they've got darker hidey places...
