Since our Hermanns tortoises were wormed this year the older one has become quiet and appears a bit dehydrated...she eats but not as much as before she was wormed and just wants to bask or sleep.

What Distance Is Ok?
Can anyone please tell me what height a uvb tube light should be above a tortoise?
ie. can it be too close...is there a set distance.

I love this idea of making calcium blocks and just wondered if anyone has maybe finely chopped up some weeds and added this to the mixture...thought it might encourage a tort to eat it...plain...

No hay or straw and it definitely hasn't bumped...
No hay or straw and it definitely hasn't bumped in to anything....there is no damage to her nose, it was coming from the tortoises nostrils...not a great amount but enough to see on a piece of tissue...
