IT doesnt look that easy to lower the bulb - if I increase the wattage of the bulb to 100w will this have any affect on the tortoises eyes etc as it will obviously be much brighter ?

only used the bark because that's what originally came with - I know he will go to the loo in his unit but he usually seems to wait to do all that when he is on the kitchen...
