I use the exact same model and have had no issues with the time and the accuracy, (its accuracy is within + 1). It sounds as though you have a faulty model.

Bought some pre alpine from reptilla not cheap. Fast delivery but package was damaged, they did offer me reasonable compensation though. From this experience they were a good company to deal with....
