I use a soft paintbrush just to moisten his shell and take any mud off but I don't think a scrubbing is really necessary

i wouldnt worry, when i go maurice in june he slept all the time, only being out for about an hour a day but about 2 months ago he sprang into life! just give him time :)

My Hermann was exatly the same, i would get him up to bathe hm and feed him then as soon as put im back down he would go straight to bed, but since i urned the central heating on he hasnt stopped...
