We finally had a good drop of rain, the sun is out again and all is well:0)

I've got a fence to paint for my new Burmese Browns' pen so I need it to stop and the sun to come out.

The forecast looks promising for you, Mary. Next week looks much brighter.
Are you settling well into your new home?

Getting there thank you Emma we finally got in on lockdown day so it has been a bit of a nightmare we had hoped to get some work done prior to moving in but it will get done some time. The only tortoises waiting to come back now are my Browns who are currently being spoilt by Gordon so probably will be sorry to move back. Their shed is up and once I have painted the fence all should be ready for them.
It's still raining here at the moment so have had enough now!

We had new neighbours this week and it must have been the quickest move ever! They carried in bin bags of belongings and had a bit of furniture in the back of a transit van. Within an hour they were sat outside eating and drinking.
When we moved, we had three removal lorries and our car, my eldest son's car and a van hubby borrowed from work filled with animals!
I don't think I sat down for three weeks. I ate as I unpacked and then fell into bed. Hubby was busy constructing in the garden for the torts and adapting their new tort room.
It is a lot of hard work so I'm glad you're seeing light at the end of the tunnel and it will be wonderful to have your Browns back and you can sit in the garden and enjoy. :-)

I'm running out of room emma I'm not sure what my Herman's have been eating but most have laid three times with amazing fertility and when it warms up again there are others that will lay again. The browns are all sleeping out at the moment as they love the rain but if any of them lay then I have back up incubator ready to go as their eggs need high humidity and a lower temperature.
With all the time off I've had its given me something to tinker with and I must put some pictures up.

That’s really lovely to read, Gordon. How’s your baby pancake doing?
Yes please to the photos. :-)

its tooo cold ! and the plants are being whipped to inch of their lives...UK is so strange for weather you almost need a change of clothes to go. Last week sweltering and this week lashings of dirty rain from goodness knows where as it seems to have sand in it, and wind.
What's the difference between a man and weather ? One is very windy, changes by the minute, and can storm for hours, and the other is atmospheric creating blue skies, clouds, sun or rain! :-D:-D:roll::shock::shock:
