We are of to Florida in the summer and I've been in contact with some turtle conservation charitys I'm going to go and see laying/hatching (hopefully!) and view a nest being excavated.

My friends don't understand my excitement so I'm sharing here :)

Have many of you been to see this?

Hope you have a great time. We saw a turtle released after rehabilitation at a sanctuary where we saw him a few days before. He'd been in captivity for two years prior to this after a boat injury, and seeing him flap into the glistening Sardinian waters was very special.
