Trying to help Janie feed her Herman's. Tried the tortoise table website but can't get it to work ATM. Can anyone confirm please: Are Marigolds / calendula edible? (I think they are different & marigolds are a no no Please add your two penneth! |
I've just managed to get on. To the website.
No to French marigold or corn marigold. Pot marigold is fine. Calendula is fine too. |
Hi, thanks to you both. Next silly question.... is there anyway of telling what I have bought or do I just plant these elsewhere and try again. I just bought 'marigolds'. J x

Perhaps easier for you if you look at the photos on this web site: www.thetortoisetable.org.uk It is a fantastic site and you can find out easily about all sorts of weeds, flowers and herbs. |
That's great, thanks. I will check it out. Just been to the vets to check them over and it
appears that Ermintrude is a boy! Will need to have a bit of a rethink...... Me |
Ermitrude a boy! Oh my goodness. I wouldn't change his name, still a great name.
My two are getting on fine, but they have lots of room and still only 9 and of course not Hermans. I had 2 cockerels called Isabel and Isabella and the children that named them couldn't see why they needed to be changed. Of course they were quite right! |
